Influenster Review Part I: First Impressions

Sorry I haven't been doing this as often as I had hoped! Oh well let's get this shin dig started shall we?

So this is what I have been doing. I joined this site called Influenster, as some of you can see from the little logo thing on the top of my site. Basically it is an online review site. You sign up for free. You earn badges in "Expert" and "Life Stages" by reviewing products from the Badge categories that you have chosen. You can only unlock 5 of the "Expert" badges so you want to be sure not to unlock them all at once or to have a pretty good idea of what sort of things you want to review are.

So you review these different products, connect your social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, and your blog if you have one. You do their little challenges they have set up for you. Then your different badges earn a score.

That score will eventually go up with the more active you are on the site, how often you review products, and getting all of the objectives and tasks you do that they give you. Your score will determine if you are eligible to get free products.

If you're eligible you will fill out a survey. Sometimes you will get what is called a VoxBox and sometimes you will not.

I haven't received a box or anything like that yet. My scores aren't even that high. I just started a few days ago. It's just something that I found that I can do in my spare time that may or may not result in some awesome free stuff.

As far as right now is concerned I'm pretty happy with the site as a whole. It's pretty easy to get started and get going. The hardest part was waiting for my score to go up. I have heard that it takes 1-3 weeks for the scores to update. It took mine a week a day or two.

Currently I only have 3 of the "Expert" Badges unlocked but I do have all of their scores up decently high. I have 3 of the "Life Stages" Badges unlocked as well. I started off doing 2-3 reviews, answers, and shares a day for each of my Badge categories and when my first scores hit I had 79 over all and  85, 79, and 90 on my "Expert" Badges. They don't give a score for your "Life Stages" Badges that I have seen as of yet.

They do give you some invites to the site when you join, if you would like an invite to the site I still have a couple left just shoot me an email with your name and I will send you an invite if I still have one left.

Sorry if I haven't quite explained everything about it, and if it isn't too easy to follow. I'm still new to the site myself and once I have done it for a while, and perhaps even received a VoxBox I will do a Part II review of  Influenster.

This Is The Begining

I have decided that I am going to start a blog. It is going to be a little bit of everything in my life. Products I review, recipes I try, and things about being a new mother after 15 years. I may add in some other things in my life. So Welcome to the Horror-show.
